Established in 2007, Powerup is a proven innovative service provider designed to meet a specific need, namely, to efficiently deliver the project management and construction of civil electrical and electrical reticulation in all new land subdivisions in accordance with Ergon Energy’s Customer Initiated Capital Works contestability framework.
We have established regular and satisfied customers by exceeding their expectations in all aspects of their projects. This has resulted in the steady and sustained growth of our business.
We attribute the continuing growth throughout the business to our clear focus on safety and high standards, continuous investment in staff
training, new machines tools and equipment.
Utilities Sector
Powerup has been fortunate enough to carry out work for, and together, shoulder to shoulder with the crews and management of Queensland’s major utilities companies such as Ergon, Telstra, Department of Transport and Main Roads and Origin Energy, during the delivery of our projects. Those experiences, combined with our staff, a number of whom were previously employed by such companies have given us the knowledge and understanding to tailor our business specifically for their needs and expectations.
URD
Working with the developer, Ergon and the civil contractor we co-ordinate the entire installation of the civil-electrical and electrical works required for proposed subdivisions, from prestart to certificate of acceptance. We are Supply Authority endorsed for project management, civil supervision and auditing services.
Consultancy Team
Uniquely, with our hybrid experience we liaise directly with the developer’s project co-ordination group including surveyors, civil and electrical engineers, council and the developer, to ensure that prospective services installed by us are planned and rolled out efficiently. We do not simply react to requests but actively pursue results to avoid delays.
Cable winch
We supply materials, construct and install all internal underground reticulation and associated infrastructure including HV equipment, cabling and public lighting for proposed developments.
Crane Truck
With its own civil plant and machinery and trade qualified electrical contractors Powerup has the capacity and experience to correctly and safely install all civil-electrical materials including conduit (electrical and NBN Co.), substation, switch and street light foundations necessary to complete contestable works of all sizes.
