As they say, timing is everything, and for the new owners of Whitsunday Bay, the Powerup Team was able to get in and out with minimal fuss to ensure that all new lots had power reticulated on time and within budget.

2014 saw the Powerup machinery fleet expand further to meet client demand, with the acquisition of a vacuum excavator, bobcat, excavator and 8 tonne tip truck. Our investment in modern machinery ensures our ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe and efficient workplace for our team and clientele.
Stages 1 and 2 of one of the Whitsundays Premier community title subdivisions is now complete. This estate involved the supply and installation of both LV and HV reticulation with the body corporate retaining control and responsibility for the conversion of bulk HV electricity from Ergon energy, and converting and selling it to its members in compliance with the law. Amongst other things, one benefit anticipated by the developer with this approach is that bulk power savings can be offset against community power costs. Working closely with Ergon Energy, the developer and the developers civil and electrical engineering consultants, Powerup was able to locate, supply and install the appropriate specialist equipment in order to meet the developer’s objectives.
